My earliest memories are of dreams. Sometimes my dreams come true which frightened me until I met a Native American Shaman who taught me that it was a gift and not a curse.  I am also often lucid while I dream and use my dreams as a creative outlet. An example of this is a dream in which I was a waitress and living in a little hovel. I hate waitressing so in my dream I changed my job to first chair violinist and then proceded to design and decorate a fabulous house to live in.

Neuroscience considers and tries to explain the function of dreams, but this research is still developing.  My dreams are my own case study which I explore through this process of visual narratives that are based off of my dreams. At this point I can safely state that when I dream it can also be a creative process.
